Helping Veterans One Mile At A Time

Honor the Past. Support the Present. Ride for the Future.

Ride For Veterans

A nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting veterans through direct outreach, awareness, and action. Founded by veterans and supporters who believe service does not end when the uniform comes off, we ride thousands of miles each year to connect with veterans where they live.

The Ride

Over 20,000 miles ridden in 4 years to visit veterans nationwide

WHY WE ARE DIFFERENT

  • 100% volunteer-run — no salaried employees

  • All riders are self-funded; donations never pay for the ride

THE MISSION

We are dedicated to supporting veterans through direct outreach, awareness, and action. Founded by veterans and supporters who believe service does not end when the uniform comes off, we ride thousands of miles each year to connect with veterans where they live.

We strive to recognize those brave men and women who have laid their lives on the line for this great nation. To remind those who have forgotten how loved and appreciated they really are.

Ride for Veterans is combating isolation: offering direct human contact, showing that someone cares, hearing their stories, and spending time with veterans who might feel forgotten. Join us on our mission to visit veteran homes across the United States.

At a glance: James Greer is a combat veteran. When he learned that, on average, 22 veterans commit suicide each day, he wanted to bring awareness to this situation and raise funds to help. His motorcycle ride to the Arctic Circle has become an annual Ride for Veterans to support those who have served in the military.

RIDE FOR VETERANS 2026:

We are an organization dedicated to improving the lives of veterans in need. Our mission is to provide assistance to those veterans who are less fortunate and to create a better world for all.  This summer, the Ride for Veterans motorcade will travel east from Kansas to Washington DC, making five powerful stops to honor aging veterans living in senior homes and VA facilities. The caravan will recognize their service to this great nation at each stop and raise awareness about veterans' health.

Thanking Our Veterans

This multi-state journey stands as a traveling tribute to American veterans, reminding communities of the sacrifices made and the continued support our aging heroes deserve. It is more than a ride—it is a mission of connection, gratitude, and action.
